A dietitian can help you with all questions about nutrition, whether you’re healthy or ill.  Along with nutrition and diet advice, they offer guidance, coaching and support. A dietitian can also give you practical tips to help you maintain your diet. You can see a dietitian for help with weight loss or weight gain, but also for issues such as intolerances, allergies or gastrointestinal problems. And, of course, if you simply want advice on healthy eating.

You can find a dietitian in Utrecht through Google Maps

Whether or not you need a GP referral to see a dietitian depends on your insurance. It’s always good to ask your insurance provider if you need a referral to qualify for reimbursement.

Basic health insurance covers three hours of dietary advice every year. The costs are first deducted from your excess. If you have additional insurance, you may be entitled to extra reimbursement. Ask your insurance provider about your cover.
